distance from Shillong main point, Police Bazar. The MTDC office is open from 7AM

day to visit Cherrapunji, the 2nd day to visit Dawki, and the last
day of the tour will be Shillong town and the nearby area. Besides this,
another option is to reserve a car or taxi to
visit places in Meghalaya. If you want to reserve, you will have to pay Rs.3000 to Rs.4000 as taxi
fare.
MTDC bus service departs at 8:30AM daily from the MTDC office gate and returns at 3PM the same day after completing a tour of Shillong and nearby areas. The bus fare for a one-day tour in Cherrapunji is Rs.500, and there is also a travel guide on each bus. That journey includes 8 places that are visited. The bus arrived first at Mawkdok Dympep Valley; this is the first point of the Cherrapunji tour. There are no separate entry fees to visit the place for tourists. The viewpoint is exceptionally beautiful and enjoyable. After that, the tour bus arrived at the place Khoh Ramhah, which has no entry fees. From this viewpoint you will see the view of Sylhet town in Bangladesh. Then you will reach Thangkharang Park and have to pay Rs.20 as entry fees per person. The next destination is seven sisters waterfalls; it is the fourth highest waterfall in India. The next destination is Mansmari Cave, built of limestone. From there a waterfall can be seen, and the place is the source of the seven-star waterfall. The last destination is Nahkalikai Falls, and it is the 2nd highest waterfall in India. day, the MTDC bus will take you to Dawki
