If you have a plan to visit Mahaveer Chora, first you reach Silchar or Hailakandi, where you can reach easily, then follow the instructions:

Silchar to Mahabircherra

Mahabircherra is well connected by road with Silchar, and the way is the best for visiting the temple. The distance from Silchar to Mahabircherra is around 22 km, and on the way you will find important places like Medical College, then REC (Engineering College), after that Bharam Baba Mandir, and Assam University, and then Alainpur Tematha, where you turn left at the Alainpur Tematha point. You will go 500 m along with the road, and then you turn right on the village road (Dirt road), go forward 2 km, and you will see the temple. On the top of the hills, surrounded by tea gardens. (The other bypass is from Barjalenga Market, along with 2.5 km from the main road).

Hailakandi to Mahabircherra

If your location is near Hailakandi, you will have reach an easy way to the temple. From hailakandi you will travel along with Silchar to Hailakandi road via Dwarbond. From Hailakandi to Mahabircherra temple, the distance is around 32 km. A place called Barjalenga, where you will reach, and then you turn right and move forward on village road along with 2.5 km from the main road. After that, you see a temple on top of the hills: that is the Mahabircherra temple.
