Jeep Safari Fare:  2200+ Road tax 300 + Welfare 100 + Permission 115, total - Rs.2715 per person.  Maximum 6 persons are allowed for one Jeep.

Safari Time:  Safari time (Jeep safari & elephant safari) is set on a schedule like -

 1st trip – Start at morning 7.30am to 10.00am jungle entry time and return before 12 o’clock. 2nd Trip – Start at 1.30pm to 3.00pm jungle entry time and will return before 5pm from the forest.

Elephant Safari – The Jungle tour can be completed by Elephant Safari and is really amazing in life, offering the central zone of Kohora and the western zone. You have to buy a ticket from the ticket counter in the evening for the next day’s morning elephant safari. The ticket price will be Rs.1500 per person, and an elephant can carry 4 tourists at a time with a mahout. The safari is an early morning activity that is 5:30am to 7:30am, and it is typically a 1-hour activity.

Entry Permit: All of you need to collect an entry permit from the counter and keep it with you at all times. Entry fees will be Rs.100 per person for Indians and Rs.200 for foreigners. The park is open daily from 7am to 5pm.

Camera Fees: You have to pay camera fees if you are with a camera. It may vary depending on the camera and whether you are a professional or non-professional.

How to Visit Kaziranga National Park

Kolkata to Guwahati

If you are outside of the Northeast, like in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai etc., first, you will reach Guwahati, the capital of Assam, by road or train. Many trains arrive in Guwahati every day from different parts of the country.

If you are from Kolkata, you will find the direct train Kaziranga Express 13181, every Monday at 9.05 am and easily reach Kaziranga Railway Station. The fare will be on the Kaziranga Express, like Sleeper Class (Rs.510), AC 2-tier (Rs.2025), and AC 3-tier (Rs.1390). Others train in the evening, like the Saraighat Express (12345), which runs every day from Howrah station at 4.05pm to Guwahati and takes approximately 18hours, reaching Guwahati Railway station the next day at 10:5am.

Guwahati to Kaziranga

Kaziranga is well connected with major cities like Guwahati with National Highway 37 (NH715 now) and Jorhat. Guwahati to Kaziranga distance is approx. 217 km. Bus and taxi services are available to reach the tourist destination Kohora, and the time taken is around 5 hours.
